Description
This is a small series for each of my 5 mewtwo characters. All pictures have been more or less inspired by Alex Greys series 'Progress of the Soul'The bg was done with acrylics, as well as the trees. The character was done with water colors. Which cased that the bg is too dark and the character is too bright, but i did not bother to overpaint Kyo again. I am not that motivated with those pictures, they are just too old.

the background is BEAUTIFUL. you are beyond an artist. you transcend the term "artist" cause you can do GREAT digital art but you are even MORE AWESOME at hand painting and drawing. really great job ^^

I would totally cry if everyone said my ps pictures are way better than my traditional work, since the digital pictures compaired to the paintings are done with less effort. Thank you for the compliment, Jim.

I think its the different stages in life. Grey is focusing on what influences the soul, what we have to do to improve, what we need to be happy. He is also preaching tolerance and equity of the worldreligions, which reflects in his works. In the end everything comes to love. This is why he is one of my favourite artists. [link] is his page.

Despite the flaws it is still good to see completed pictures by you. The trees are a nice touch to the scene. Pretty good gradient in the background, especially considering how challenging acrylics can make it. The contrast is off, but maybe there is a spotlight in front of him. Can't see it, so it could be possible.

I find the bg is the best of the picture. The scan made it even worser, maybe a photograph would have been better.
It's sweet of you, but you don't need to sugar coat it, where is no spotlight, sadly. Maybe will overpaint it again to get a better contrast.
