I'm usually split on which version I prefer. Linears look cleaner and sometimes clearer, but shadeds sometimes add depth and...substance? I'm split on this one, clearly.

I'm just wondering, how do you do the linear? Do use pencil, ink, or paint program? I'm just curious, that's all.

Actually, the linear is the first 'finished' version of one of my drawings. Mostly the original pencil/pen plus a little tweaking via PS. The shading comes later.

So you use a pen to 'ink' your drawings and then you add the shading? Interesting.
