As a recent journal warned, I'm posting a few ungodly ancient sketches of mine (gotta be near the 7-9 year mark, I'd guess) while I'm busy on a little project or two.Anyone remember the spunky dark elf Cham from the Valis series? ^^
Always liked her. This one's more or less just a redraw from one of the early cinema scenes in Valis 3: Just Cham perched somewhere, looking cute. ^^

Hah! Cham... Didn't really like playing her that much, but the girl had a charm of her own.

Yeah, more or less. Way back when I drew this, I was generally just aiming to redraw a few scenes from the game itself. Not very original I know, but it was ages back and just trying to get used to some things.

I remember that scene. And there ain't enough good Cham fanart on dA, or anywhere for that matter; what few Valis sites I've found (that haven't died) didn't even feature that much of her. Thank God there are folks who remember.
And this is definitely one of the best Cham pictures I've seen. Wonderful.

Yeah, I find it rather odd how such a nifty char design is ignored in the majority of the Valis fanart out there (that's still around, of course). I can understand Yuko getting the majority, of course, but the other principle chars were just as well made. ^^

Nice shading. Love the detail work as well. Very nice lineart. I also don't see many pieces of art drawn in that pose either. The anime style hair shading is cool too. Love that technique!

Thanks. It was more or less a redraw from an early cinema screen in Valis 3, hence why the style's a bit more anime than my usual.
