I figure since the game is out in Japan and either out/nearly out in the west too, I might as well start dropping these...

So, 'SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy'...'nuff said. Colorful fighting with a 'simplified' control scheme (no crouching?), so I hear...oh, and obviously oodles of 'fanservice'. I'm not judging, I haven't played the thing.

Anyway, seems like all default characters (which essentially are all ported from KOFXIV, plus Shermie and...female Terry Bogard) have a set of three costumes: two 'creative' ones and a KOF (basically their 'normal' outfit) one.

Technically, for the first time in a lot of years (not counting a pachinko slot), ninja babe Mai Shiranui actually has a barefoot-y outfit officially. Her alternate ('costume 3') is a frilly, colorful look, with a peacock theme to the tails and a lot of transparent cloth. I'm not actually sure what to describe it as...sorta goddess-like? A desert dancer or priestess? I'm not sure there's a 'name' for it, but it's pretty nice. And, again, she's unshod for the first time since her Real Bout days.

Unfortunately, other than Luong's KOF outfit, the only other, ah, 'interesting' outfit for that focus belongs to...ugh...

...friggin' Sylvie. I did not have to see a skimpy swimsuit on Lucky Chloe's cousin...

Anyway, I guess Mai isn't pleased about that either, as she's slamming the blonde psycho with a reverse kick to the collarbone. A bit of an impact pic obviously, with a deliberate rather skewed perspective of the kick. Sylvie probably looks a bit off, but with the stupid faces she constantly makes in games...who would notice the difference. Also a little electricity (?) vs fire theme in the back, slightly...

Of course, maybe you're thinking that title quote (said by Mai) is moreso based on the quality of this piece.
