Personality: If there were a horse that embodied the word 'sweet', this would be him. Zydeco is an unconditionally loving, devoted gelding, and very few would guess that he was recovered in a last minute plea from the back of a kill buyer's trailer. Under the coating of mud and matted fur, his new owner hadn't even realized that he was no ordinary horse until they arrived home, and wasn't that a shock. Elysia fell even more in love with the strange creature, and they've been inseparable ever since.
Zydeco loves nothing more than following Elysia's every move, and she has no need for a lead-rope with him. Even on days when Elysia isn't feeling well enough to ride, she can be found cuddled up alongside the taffy-coloured gelding in his stall, dozing or just chatting. He is her rock.
