Shameless self advertising!Yes, this is actually the new header for my book blog, Oktopus Ink ([link] ). I just modified it a bit for the purpose of pleasing the masses here on DA. Hence the pro-literacy message.
SO HAS ANYBODY READ A GOOD BOOK RECENTLY? I'm reading Behemoth by Scott Westerfeld now. ITS AWESOME.

Same with mine - my original banner was all Victorian Library-ish. Which was okay I suppose, but I'm not nearly that strict with my reading or reviews, so it was kind of a mismatch. I'm much happier with the one I have now.

I have this little ritual of reading the entire series before I go to see one of the movies. I'm reading book five and I finshed one, three and six....so I still gotta go back for some*giggles*

Socially Evolved T-Rex should be the only top-hat/bow-tie wearing creature... unless... unless...
Unless they get together and share a mansion study with those big red chairs and a fireplace situated perfectly behind them. There they could drink scotch and check their stocks in the newspaper, swearing at each other and smoking stogies. S.E.T.R and Ink would be bestest friends and they would totally go on awesome adventures, solving financial mysteries, reading books and finding out what "on the rocks" means in terms of a martini.
I think I just discovered the next hit TV show.

But...if the forces of Socially Evolved T-Rex and Inky combined...OMG, I think you did just discover the next hit TV show. There would be no stopping the pretentious energy that leaked from that mansion. They would have universal remotes for every single room, that controlled the lights and fireplaces. There would even be a fireplace in the bathroom. And once they discovered what "on the rocks" means in terms of a martini, they would move onto figuring out where to buy a BMW for less than 30 grand.

What if they had remotes for controlling the remotes that controlled the fireplaces?
Also maybe one episode could be a top-hat contest and in the end when they lose to Abe Lincoln they learn a very valuable lesson about love.

I-forgot-his-first-name Huxley; it's a distopian society where the classes are genetically engineered to fit their class (alpha through epsilon) and the masses are controlled through easy gratification--i.e., free sex, and lots and lots of a miracle drug called soma, that's pretty much an anti-depressant with no side-effects. It's very interesting--a bit shocking, really.
