Originally created as a quick 10 minute sketch. I decided to flesh out the design afterward. I plan on creating an animated illustration with After Effects for this artwork.Related content

Screen shots of Infamous helped to inspire the concept. I don't have a PS3 so I still haven't had a chance to play the game. Hopefully one day soon I will. I love lightning powers! I wish I had them.

Cool beans. There is a lot of energy in this and the pose alone really sells that. The lighting and special effects really give off that sence of barely controlled power. So, he is repelling or drawing in the rocks?

The rocks are being repelled at first, once they're airborne the guy will retain control of them. Similar to what the Fallen did in Transformers 2, except with tendrils of super hot lightning attached to them.
I think this would be a pretty awesome combination of powers.
