Description Not sure what to call this exactly. It's not a traditional digital painting. It's best described as a "photo mosaic with purpose". I created the original sketch using markers. I used a lot of stock photos to piece this together.

My goal is to create a Flash animation with some After Effects eye candy. I will create that and update with a link.

*UPDATE - I decided to add a head to the design, it just didn't look right without a head. So... I added Jude Law's face to the design, this ties it together with the Repo Men movie. Hope you all like it.

Alas, we won't see actual technology this advanced for DECADES yet (maybe even centuries)

This is not sci-fi. This is in development. I'll do some research on it later; my comic is to have something like this.

Oh really? Wow... I guess anything that is considered sci-fi by anyone could potentially be in development somewhere along the timeline, assuming the science and math are up to par.

Are you sure something like this is in development? This is not an exo-suit. It's a subdermal complete prosthetic replacement. If something like this is really in development then we, as a species, are on the verge of creating the first real cyborg. Imagine that.

If Bladerunner was any indication to the perils of such advancement we should tread carefully.

Thanks for the feedback. I checked out your animation. It's solid... I especially like the coverage you created with the logo, it sells the concept that it's a commodity. Did you animate the hand doing a "thumbs up" pose? That was funny.

Yea the hand was a costume rig. I had to rig it to pose it after the modeling. So I was like well might as well animate it now. The rest was just photoshop and Premiere. Glad you liked it Good lighting on your the scene. Its dark and matches the movies scene.

I start my 3D Modeling class next quarter. I'm so out of practice, otherwise I would have submitted a 3D render too. I love that stuff.

Good work. Good luck too!

Oops sorry mixed up my replys wrong art darn tabs. Sorry about that. Correction... What I like about your work is it reminds me of Crysis Great design.

A lot of people have mentioned Crysis when they see this design. I must admit it's inspired from Crysis, iRobot and the visuals I imagine reading Sci-Fi novels by Peter F. Hamilton. The term eMuscle is derived from Peter's term Electro-Muscle.

The thing I hope separates it from the Crysis nano suit is the fact that the suit is meant as an exo-suit, but this is tightly based on human anatomy, thus suggesting it's meant to fit within the body... Underneath the skin.
