thank you and i totally agree! for all the greatness there was in the movie there was also a lot of missed potential. such as all the build up they gave us in that amazing scene where harry is begging with max and then nothing ends up really coming out of all that. also the fact that max was someone peter had saved earlier didn't see to affect him at all. before max becomes electro the writers go through all this trouble to show us he is actually a victim but he still winds up a throwaway villain??? i've heard rumours that electro is supposed to be part of the sinister 6 so i hope that means he isn't truely dead.

No need to be sorry. I thought the EXACT same thing. 
I mean...There really was a lot of build up and interesting psychological stuff going on. And it really bugged me that they just dropped it all and "killed" him off. For me it even made spiderman himself highly unsympathic - because he isn't asking WHY he is fighting this person, who is a victim himself and if he could be helped any other way. As soon as he was in prison, everybody seem to forget about him again - except Oscorp of course. To me his reactions near the end were logical and I guess I would have done the same. If I FINALLY have the power, I would want revenge too O_o I could totally empathize with him there.
Oh well...Yeah. Maybe too much thinking for a action-movie. But if he would make another appearance ~ I would be happy to see him again
