Do you also know this when you have time to draw and you like to draw something but you have no idea what to draw?

This happened to me yesterday (again).

I wanted to draw but had no clue what.

Additionally this was the last free page on this Strathmore 400 toned tan sketchbook..... only one to completely fill that thing.

I had no idea, but I started to scribble and it turned out to be a crocodile (at least it look like one without referencing a real one).

After I started it went into automatic mode using 2 fountain pens, one with a blue ink and one with white ink.

I did not pay attention to carefully hatch and think about light and darks, it was a quick spontanous scribbling/sketching.

Then I finished the piece with a light wash with a brush.

But I like the outcome, sometimes you just have to stop thinking and just start scribbling.

And this sketchboook is finished and can be moved to the shelf to the other finished.....
