First piece in 2023

This time I tried my second tube of liquid charcoal, grape seed black is compared to cherry pit black a more neutral black, also very nice.

I painted the dragon in several stages of wetness, up to really dry, using it as dry brush.

The dry brush gives a really nice texture effect.

Additionally I used a wet Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencil to add additional details.

My verdict for the liquid charcoal is really good, I like how it behaves and look, a good addition to my arsenal.

And this is the last piece for Inktober52 2022.

Finally done.... Yeah

I think I will not continue with Inktober52 this year.

Despite it was a good experience to be forced each week to produce something for a certain prompt it put also some pressure on you and I really disliked some of the prompts.

Another reason why not to continue is that the prompts are not public available, you only get it when you sign up for them.

And I really dislike to be forced registering for such a thing, this is really stupid.

I have the impression that not many people performed Inktober52 and this registering crap might be also a reason for this.

I did not signed up for 2022 so I depended on others posting the weekly prompts, which was not good to be so dependent on others.
