One of my faves too (in fact I think it's the lead in terms of my favorite dinosaurs, followed by ankylosaurus and stegosaurus). However, my OVERALL, or number one favorite prehistoric animal regardless of kingdom, phylum, order, family, genus or species, would be Smilodon.
