Here's my entry for Project Rooftop's Black Terror redesign bananza thing. For those unfamiliar with him here's all you need to know about him: pdsh.wikia.com/wiki/Black_Terr… Basically he's Captain America meets Batman with a dash of The Punisher thrown in. I've always thought the character had potential and just looked cool.

I decided not to stray too far from that version since at it's core it's a cool costume. I decided to take an Ultimate Captain America style approach and add more realistic gear to him. I feel like I invoked some Captain Harlock in him by accident as well (nothing wrong with that though). Decided to ditch the domino mask and give him a Skull like mask/headplate/guard thing, since with a name like Black Terror you expect him to be a little unsettling to come across. I tried to keep the color scheme to gold and black to keep it simple and I tried to throw in the gold in more practical ways like with the elbow and knee pads and the back of the cape.

The in story reason for the cape being so ragged is that it would be a psychological advantage. If you saw this guy coming at you and saw how torn that cape was yet he was perfectly fine looking it would likely unnerve you a bit.
