Description So this is my entry for the Annual Dragon Hunt 2018
hosted by Nordanner

I am actually very proud of this piece the more I look at it. It was very time consuming (especially the dragon, as it was my very first dragon that I drew. The dragon alone was 2-3 hours). But I do wish school and work wasnt so demanding upon me. I haven't had much time to do anything let alone draw. But for now, I do believe this is amazing and MUCH better compared to my entire gallery. Especially that dragon...like...WOW. I...no words. xD

Story:

--: The story was true.. The Queen had made an an announcement outside her quarters, that some of her generals had been taken by the filthy Vrux dragon. The looks on some horses’ and people's faces had let Meghan know that this has not happened before.

Meghan was new to Aleria when she found this place on a run for food. Walkers are growing, and growing fast. Food is scarce, ammo is little to none. But her people are starting to worry. Ever since she found this place, she became less worried--about the Walkers, at least. Lately, a new fear had been discovered: dragons.

She’d only seen one and it wasn't pretty. The Vrux dragon was nasty and cared for nothing but pretty sparkles, like Gems. But since the kingdom had been done with the gems, the Vrux dragons hadn’t been around much. Not until today.

Ok, so which of my horses are the most qualified for a dragon hunt? She thought to herself. “Romaji is very skillful. He is agile and sure footed...but he is also heavy and not very fast. Liv? He’s too traumatized by the looks of a dragon. He must’ve had a bad day with one, but I don't blame him, to be fair though. Dragons are scary,” she trailed off.

She went to the paddocks to look at her horses. Any of her Padros wouldn’t do well, as they are not born dragon hunters. But Sonne was very willing to go. He was all fired up; literally. He had flames out of his eyes, his mane stripes were blazing, and trails of fire came from his hooves. Every breath he took was steaming.

“Wanna go for a ride, big guy?” Meghan asked the rather large draft. Sonne nickered very loudly, demanding to be out and ridden. Meghan motioned one of her riders over to her. “Can you take my boy out for a ride? I need to focus on who needs to be taken with me to save the Queen's horses,” she said but trailed off distractedly, still over looking her paddocks.

The rider nodded and slung Sonne's halter over his shoulder as he walked into the bay’s paddock. Sonne was ready to go. “Oh! How well are you with riding bareback?” she asked the rider.

“I first learned how to ride bareback ma'am,” the rider mentioned.

“Good, he doesn't care much for a saddle, since he likes to be free of all restraints; well, minus the halter. He does best with just his halter--you’re holding in your hand,” she explained, not taking her eye off of her horses, still looking for a good match. The rider nodded, putting Sonne’s halter on and latching it.

The rider began to lead the heavy horse, who was very excited. He stomped the ground, head tossing, even kicking, but he never kicked when anyone was around his rear end. When the rider had taken him out, Sonne swung around to keep his eyes on the rider, he kept his ears back toward Meghan, listening to her.

Meghan gave him a pat on his big butt.  “...give him the ride of his life buddy; use those wings,” she said softly enough to where the rider wouldn't hear. Sonne turned his head just a tad to look her in the eye. Meghan nodded and he pawed the ground, unfolding his wings. He flapped them a few times to get loose feathers out, but when the rider turned around he was in awe. He had never noticed Sonne’s wings had grew! The rider about fell back on his bum he was so amazed. “Oh, by the way, he has wings...and he likes to use them,” she also mentioned, warning the rider that the powerful horse might take flight.

The rider looked at her with great fear mixed with excitement and jumped on him at once. Sonne gave a little rear out of happiness to be out of his paddock. “One more thing: do go visit his girlfriend too; he will love you forever if you do,” Meghan called as she walked to a far paddock, finally making her decision. The rider put leg pressure on his right and turned him to the left and Sonne immediately followed through with his commands. The rider lost balance and nearly fell off. “Jesus,” he muttered with wide eyes. He gathered the reins and clicked. Sonne clenched every muscle in his bum and eagerly launched forward. Every stride getting faster, longer and heavier. His wings began to flap as he picked up more speed. His eyes burning, feet flaming, wings blazin, he lifted off the ground. Sonne screamed in happiness to be away to see his Pele. He loved that girl with all his heart and wanted to be with her for the rest of his life, but he had also loved Meghan. She took him.in when he was a foal and took great care of him while he stayed to be on of the Stables greatest studs. He looked down to see Ghost and was immediately angered. He hated that horse with a passion.

As Sonne flew up into the clouds, Meghan was on her way to a big paddock. She was smiling and couldn't wait to get the horse that she chose for the hunt. As she came to the paddock she whistled loudly. There was nothing in sight in the paddock but lush green grass and woods in the far corner. Silence was broken by distant beating of hooves and wooshes of air. Meghan smiled bigger. Bursting through the trees came a horse of a blue tint. She had a tear drop star on her face, and two white stockings on her back legs. It was Cricket. But what had changed unbeknownst to the staff of Walking Dead Stables was that Meghan had given Cricket a potion. The potion that granted a horse wings. Cricket had her wings out and was beating them hard. Meghan opened the gate, letting the mare know that flying over the fence was not necessary and that breaking the surprise to her staff shouldn't be ruined. She wanted to see their faces. Cricket slowed to a walk and folded her wings as she got to her owner. Cricket closed her eyes and pressed her head against Meghan's forehead. Meghan loved this horse with all her heart. She found her wild outside the city limits. Even wild Cricket was tame...at least to Meghan she was. Cricket loved her too. She didn't mind anyone else riding her but she would need a saddle and halter/bridle if you were to ride her. Little kids wouldn't though. She is a very gentle mare with the little ones. Meghan looked at her mare with nothing but love for her. Cricket walked over to her side and bowed for Meghan to help her to get on. Meghan slide onto the mares back being careful of the mares wings. After she was secure, she made a gentle tug on the mare mane letting the mare know that she was secure and mounted. She mare stood and Meghan's feet dangled. “Up Up” Meghan said and Cricket sped up into a small lope.

One “Up” meant trot and two meant canter. She trained this horse very well, but a lot of Crickets training was easy and not hard. She was a quick learner and was a dream to train. But a lot of it came from the instant bond that Cricket and Meghan made. They were two peas in a pod. Inseparable.

As they got closer to the stables, the hard working staff turned to see them. Most of the staff had almost lost their jaws and their eyes wide. Meghan chuckled. Cricket slowed to a gentle jog as Meghan put her feet out front of her. Cricket began to prance as she passed each staff member. Meghan laughed out loud knowing she had amazing wings.

Crickets wings were solid black with white tips on eh ends of the feathers. They really were cool to look at.

“Ok girl, time to fold ‘em, and for me to hop off” Meghan said. Cricket slide to a stop granting her owners wishes and bowed once more. Meghan slid off the blue mare and.began to walk into the barn with Cricket close behind, folding her wings.

As she stepped into the barn men and women were gossiping about the Queen's words. Some were even talking up their horses. Meghan stopped along with her mare. Everyone stopped talking and gave their undivided attention to the stables owner.

“There will be no riding outside the stables perimeter today.” She said “...as most of you know by now that some dragons have taken the queens horses after the queen had banished the use of gems”

The barn began to fill with gasps and talk, many were wanting to go out and help.

“I'm sure many of you want to help, but the stables still needs it's chores done and the horses exercised…” she looked around “...now...I know this is very exciting and you want to go out and explore...but I'll make you a deal. If the stables are sparkly clean and all horses are exercised, then I will give everyone a day off to go down toward the lake and have a swim day….” She ended again.

People were talking amounts each other and jumping and shrieking in joy for the day off.

“But...I do warn you that the Walkers are worse this year...and I do recommend you bring your suits and weapons...it takes only one bite or scratch to end your life…” she ended her speech and lifted her hand and made a circle motion. “That's a wrap..get goin peeps”

Everyone scattered in different directions. Filling water buckets, grabbing brooms and dusters. The sound of scattering feet and scrubbing around her. Meghan walked over to the wash rack and stood while Cricket walked in and turned around, dropping her wings to the ground. Meghan smiled at her mare once more. “No need for halters or ties” she laughed as she turned the water on.

She checked the water temp and turned it for a cool yet still warm feeling and.began to home the sweat off her mare. Cricket closed her eyes and lowered her head as the cool water down her sweaty barrel. It felt like it only took 5 minutes until her bath was done and her coat shimmering clean.

Next Meghan walked to the tack room and grabbed her riding halter. It was a rope halter that had a braided noseband that consisted of the stables colours + blue. But as she walked back into the tack room she realized that she never got to make Crickets dragon Tack. She looked back at the mare and made a funny look. Cricket stared at her with a sideways glance in confusion. Meghan went over to her and patted her neck. “...I think we will be okay...how hard can this be?” She asked Cricket.

(A little while later)

“Ok, this may be a whole lot harder than we thought big girl” Meghan said to her mare. The roan nickered very quietly. Meghan and Cricket we're using the caves shadows for cover.

As they walked behind the cave “teeth” and through the shadows they noticed a lot of bones laying around… Meghan looked at the ground and slowly lowered herself to inspect the bones more clearly. She picked one up softly and held it to her face. It looked like a femur bone. She again slowly sat it down and rose. Meghan and her mare krept forward both keeping their eyes on the dragons and the bones in front of them. Meghan kept walking until she found a bone that she most definitely knew. She crouched once more and looked closer. It was the lower mandible of a horse's jaw. Her eyes widened and her heart rate elevated. She didn't want to alarm Cricket but also didn't want the mare to see what she had just seen, so she picked it up and set it in her pocket.

As they krept farther into the cave and lost more light, Meghan stepped on something hard. She knew it wasn't bone as the sound it made was not bone like. A dragon picked up his head in alarm and looked around. Cricket and Meghan froze. It felt as if their hearts were starting to beat out of their chests. The dragon looked around more but since he hadn't heard anything he lowered his head again. Meghan was very curious as to what she stepped on. She crouched onto her knees and inspected the unknown substance below her. She held it up toward the light a little bit not to high so where the dragons could see, but she could barely make out what it was. The light from the outside shown on it and the colours red and black were unveiled. Then belt buckles and snaps and leather. IT WAS DRAGON TACK! With a flush of happiness she began to slowly tack up the mare. Silently bucking the snaps and throwing on the leather slabs that were meant for the rump. As she finished she thought to herself “well she has some shield against the dragons viciousness now…” still keeping her eyes on the dragon.

The dragon was busy; as the Queen has said Vrux dragons love shiny objects and Gems are perfect for that. The Vrux dragon was digging through a pile of gems that were stashed in corner of an inlet in the cave. Meghan looked back at the opening of the cave and she could barely make it out. It was just a speckling of light.

The light of the cave began to take effect as Meghan and Cricket krept closer and closer. Meghan looked around the dragon and around the cave and realized that there were no generals in sight. “Did he eat them?” Meghan began to worry. Meghan took a look back at her horse and realized by the looks on her face that she had the same thoughts as well.

Sweat started to drip down Meghan's face as the temperature began to elevate and her fear climbed. Meghan and Cricket stopped to look around once more, but still slowly creeping behind the cave's teeth.

A loud neigh had let out and both Meghan and Cricket looked around. The dragon on the other hand, curled his lip and walked towards the back of the cave, leaving his stones unattended. Meghan thought to herself if she should follow the dragon or steal some of his gems as a leverage to give her the general (or generals) back,   depending on how many he took or if he ate any. But judging on the bones she found, they were older and not fresh. But could those have been from previous hunts before her?

She stopped thinking and decided to act. She started to walk faster and faster, eventually breaking into a run yet still silent. Cricket was right behind her stepping heavily to absorb the shock and the sound.

Two neighs had been let out again, except these neighs we're more out of anger. Then she heard thudding of dragon feet mixed with horse shoe clattering. Meghan hopped on Crickets back and yelled “hyah Up up Cricket!!”

Cricket immediately tore off into a gallon towards the back of the cave. Crickets eyes were wide and her mouth open and her ears flat. She was sensing the generals feelings. They were angry...but they were scared. Cricket galloped faster and started to beat her wings; her feet started to lift of the ground as she maneuvered around the caves teeth.

Cricket came around the last corner and saw the horses. They looked to have busted out for the cage they were kept in and the dragon didn't seem very happy about it. The horses were beginning to be pinned against the wall, with cave teeth on the either side of them. Cricket noticed one of them to be Astro.

Astro was a very good general; she loved to fight the dragons and was amongst the best in her herd. If there was anything in this world that made her madder than hell...it was dragons.

Astro had a very angry face on. She was rearing and pawing and her ears were pasted to neck. Her deep blood red coat was soaked with sweat. She may have been struggling to get free from eh cage for a while by the looks of it.

The other general Cricket had not seen before. The horse was a paler colour, but with a hummingbird set of colours on it's head and neck. Cricket that the horse was gorgeous and began to think of other things. But before she got deep into her thoughts she snapped back to reality when Astro let out a fierce neigh. A warning one at that. Cricket stepped closer to them.

Astro noticed Meghan and Cricket getting closer. She turned her head to look at them but quickly shot her attention to the dragon as she opened his mouth.

The dragons mouth began to get brighter and brighter and Cricket began to get more scared for the horses.

Meghan realized that the dragon was getting ready to blast the generals with his fire and she decided that she needed to create a distraction. She veered Cricket back toward the cave; “I'm sorry girl, but I need to save these horses” she whispered and gave Cricket a huge kick.

Crickets eyes widened and she let out a suprised noise. Meghan had never done that before but she thought it was necessary to do because lives were at stake. The mare flew back to the front of the cave and slide to a stop as Meghan jumped off of her, grabbed a few gems and hopped back on.

Meghan pulled the mares mane to the left veering back to the depths of the cave. As they got back the fire was just about to burst out of the dragons mouth until Meghan had let out a huge “hey you!.”

The dragon closed his mouth and looked towards Meghan and her mare.

Meghan held up the gems in the air, waving them in the dragon's face. The dragon curled his lip once more and began to run toward Meghan and her horse.

Let's see how fast this dragon can run shall we Meghan thought to herself. Cricket flattened her ears and shook her head. As Meghan pulled Crickets head toward the front of the cave, Cricket reared and striking as she turned on her hind legs, spread her wings and launched into the air.

The other horses ran after the dragon neighing loudly and angrily; teaming up with Meghan and her mare. Astro was galloping faster than the other general and was attempting to catch up to bit at the dragon's tail.

Meghan was throwing the gems at the dragon's face to keep his attention on her to keep the dragon from turning onto the generals.

Cricket veered her head slightly to the side letting out a revenge neigh to both the dragon and the horses and letting them know that this evil event must not go unpunished.

Cricket had reached the opening and shot upward out and above the cave and landed on a ledge.

Meghan looked around for anything sharp that he could use to help fight this dragon and saw a shimmer of light out of the corner of her left eye and looked towards it. It was a sword. Meghan then hopped off of her mare and grabbed the sword. By the time she was about to get back on Cricket, the dragon busted the cave opening wider, causing Cricket to fall in. “CRICKET!” she yelled looking down to where her mare had fell but quickly shot back to the dragon who was flapping his large wings above her.

The dragon again opened his mouth and fire, gurgling from the pits of his stomach, began to form. The dragon's eyes were narrow and claws we're out like a hawks were to be as if he were about to catch something.

Meghan looked back down to see the generals climbing the fallen rock and Cricket flying back up. Meghan twirled her sword in her right hand and crouching down ready to fight and her left arm extended as if she were to grab something.

The dragons mouth was very bright and right before he released the fire within his mouth, Cricket flew in front of her and Meghan grabbed her mane, and gliding onto her back.

Cricket flew up and turned to the dragon who was still standing looking dumbfounded.

Astro and the other general had successfully climbed the rocks, but what they had on their backs we're odd. They had chains and locks.

Meghan wondered what they were for until the hummingbird general took one end of the chain and swing it toward the dragon. The lock opened and latched onto the dragons left hind foot and the general pounded a nail into the hard ground right before the dragon went after Meghan and Cricket.

The dragon turned his attention back to the light coloured general and sneered. He turned toward the horse and started to go after him until Astro snuck behind him and latched another lock onto the dragon's tail.

That's when Meghan knew. They were wanting to capture and lock up the dragon.

She saw another chain and clucked to Cricket to dive down.

The light general again successfully threw a chain and caught the dragons head.

The dragon turned back to Astro, his anger growing. He let out a heavy roar then opening his mouth to blast fire toward the red mare. Just before her skin was to be severely burned by the fire, she leapt out of the way and reared. Cricket dove down toward the dragon trying to distract him as the generals could do what they were trying to accomplish. Meghan directed Cricket by his eye, and jabbef it, temporarily blinding the dragon..

The dragon let out a roar in anguish, lashing fire in all directions in the air, with Cricket dodging his attacks.

On the ground, Astro and the other general were hard at task. While the dragon was temporarily blinded, they readyed the last chain. Swirling it into the air, then caught the other side of the dragons neck. Having a total of two chains on the dragons head. Hurriedly they ran around two trees and tugged HARD. The dragon came crashing down head first

The generals again frantically pounded the nails into the hard ground.

But the dragon was flailing and roaring. The chains were too weak. As the dragon grew more angry, his power became unstoppable. The dragon busted the chains and got back up. On all fours, the dragon steamed, towering above the generals. Astro puffed her chest up..out of ideas... she was ready to die a hero. The other general flattened his ears and hopped onto his hindquarters a few times, neighing and pawing.

The dragon drew his biggest breath and opened his mouth. Ready to blast the horses into smithereens.

Meghan looked at the scenario and realized that the dragon didn't take any notice that Meghan and Cricket we're up behind him. Meghan remembered something the she read as a child in her fiction books that she loved so much. Meghan drew upon her memory of Alice and Wonderland and how Alice defeated the Jaberwooky by slicing the head off. Meghan then realized what she had to do.

As Cricket was there stationary taking in the moment with wide eyes afraid of her friends death, Meghan jumped off of Crickets back and took the sword in both hands, reaching it up toward the end of sky as if we're a golf club.

Cricket shreiked and went after her rider.

Looking towards the dragons neck, as she got close enough, she swing the sword so hard that her shoulder cracked, and she fell to the ground, bouncing on her sides, rolling a couple feet and slid to a stop.

Cricket screeched to a halt and looked at her motionless rider in shock.

The dragons head dropped to the ground, the body squiggling. The dragons head was cut completely off.

Cricket looked back to her rider and flew faster than she has ever flew before, landed and ran to her owner yelling in misery, worried for her. As cricket got to her rider, she did not see her move. Her body limp and absent of all life. Her stomach still.

The dragons body fell to the ground with an earthquake. Shaking all who were around.

Cricket stumbled a bit, but picked her rider up and flung her onto her back, then looking towards the generals. Yelling a neigh with great fear in her eyes, the generals knew what was important. The generals nodded and ran down the mountain; Cricket close behind in the air.

Astro looked up toward Cricket who was above them and neighed for her attention.

Cricket looked down, and saw Astro motioning forward with her head, telling her that the castle was straight ahead. Cricket thanked Asteo with a loud neigh and flew faster to the Castle.

As Cricket reached the castle she let out a loud neigh, alarming the queens gaurds right woutside the castle.

The gaurds ran the direction that Cricket was landing.

As cricket lowered her body close to the ground, she let out her feet to aid her in her landing. She met the ground, but not at a halt, but at a gallop. She was on her way to the front steps of the castle.

With the gaurds close behind, she let down lifeless Meghan and neighed even louder.

The Queen came out of her door and onto the balcony of her bedroom to see the frantic horse and the lady on the ground. “Get that rider into the medical hall IMMEDIATELY!” she yelled afraid for the woman's life.

The gaurds reached her and lifted her to carry her into the castle.

Afraid, Cricket was close behind following until a gaurd surprise attacked her with putting a halter around her neck.

Cricket wanted the gaurd to go with her owner. She reared and pawed and tossed her head, almost dragging the gaurd. Then another gaurd threw another rope around her neck, and another one popped up, and another one. Soon she had to give up and go with the gaurds. They were pulling her toward the castle stables. She tried to fight more but the men were strong. Soon there were 6 ropes on her neck, and she couldn't fight no more and gave into the guards will. They took her to an empty stable that had the name “Astro” on it. They pulled her in and latched the 5 locks that had been on the stall door. She looked at the locks then at the guards. She stood still a second and then started to scream again.

For the next 7 hours she screamed for her rider.

(8 hours later)

Meghan woke up, her eyes slowly adjusting to the light in her room. She looked around and saw that her right foot was in a full leg cast and her left arm had a cast to her shoulder, then her right hand had a cast. She had a massive headache and lifted her hand to her forehead. She felt a wrap around it. Meghan sighed. She couldn't remember how she ended up in the hospital.

A nurse came in and Meghan asked her a question “excuse me ma'am...how did I end up here?”

The nurse was surprised “oh!....well your horse took you here and you were near death…she was in panic and was very frantic..we even had to give her a sedative to calm her down. She nighed for you and paced around her stall for 7 hours…”

Meghan looked at her in shock. She couldn't remember…

“What...what mare was carrying me?” Meghan asked the nurse.

“Oh, a gorgeous blue tinted mare with two hind stockings and a yetear drop star” she said nicely.

“Oh my goodness!!” I need to see her!!” Meghan exclaimed and she stood up but came back down to her bed after her headache pounded in her head.

“Oh ma'am you need to rest...you cracked your skull in 3 places, broke 3 bones in your wrist and broke both bones in your hand and broke your foot and femur…” she said as she quickly laid Meghan safely back on the bed.

“ I will see to that your mare is brought in to see you” she said with a smile.

Meghan smiled big in a thank you.

An hour later the windows were open from the outside in Meghan's recovery room. Soon a big and dark blue head with a teardrop facial marking stuck inside her room.

Cricket was looking frantically for Meghan. She looked to her right and saw Meghan being rolled to the window towards her. Cricket nickered 7 times waiting to feel the warmth of her owner's hand on her face.

Meghan reached hand out slowly. Her hand was one foot away before Cricket reached her head out to meet her hand halfway. Meghan's hand resting on her mares muzzle. The mare quickly calmed down and nickered a very low, yet happy nicker. Meghan smiled. “You are  such a good girl Cricket…” Meghan began to tear up.

The nurse walked out from behind the bed that Meghan was on. “That mare there...is the only reason why you are alive…” she started “..if she hadn't gotten you here on time..you would have died…” the nurse ended. “That horse loves you ma'am”

Meghan looked at her mare with tears strolling down her face. “Thank you my sweet sweet girl”

Another woman popped in the room. Her attire; all golden. Her gown, long and flowy. Her hair long and her scent sweet. “The Queen of Aleria” was announced in the hallway.

Meghan turned around to bow her head to her majesty.

The Queen smiled “no need for that deary” she said kindly as she walked over to Meghan. Meghan left her hand on her mare still stroking her face, keeping the mare calm.

“How are you deary” she asked Meghan.

“Fine thank you your majesty” Meghan answered slowly

“No need for the 'majesty’ kind lady” the Queen said as she kneeled to the ground and grabbed Meghan's other hand. “ I cannot thank you enough for saving my horses young ma'am” the Queen began.

Meghan smiled as her memory began to come back to her about the fight with the dragon.

“Oh! It's really fine. I was just trying to do what was right...Astro has a special place in my heart as well as it does with Cricket and I'm sure with many other horses and people alike” she paused shutting her eyes and blinking them open again. “...but even if it was not Astro...saving horses is what I do for a living ma'am….where I live...horses are our means of travel and companionship. We rely on our horses, and to have them wasted away or to be abandoned or hurt or neglected is too sad...but we also are constantly chased by the living Dead…” she ended.

The Queen looked at her with a confused look.

“Walkers ma'am...the walking dead...zombies ma'am” she ended making it simple for her majesty to understand better.

The Queen's eyebrows raised, shocked that these sorts of things are real.

“Yes ma'am...they are real..and I save horses all the time from their ruin..” Meghan stated.

The Queen looked at the window as another head popped in.

A deep red head with white speckling around the eyes and muzzle, and a silver white mane appeared.

The Queen and Megan chuckled.

Cricket took her head and rubbed it against Astros, glad that she was alive.

The Queen stopped to talk to Meghan. “Now…” she said as she got up “...every hero deserves a hero's reward..” she paused to look at Meghan.

Meghan looked down upon her body “oh no no no, that's not necessary ma'am. I am no hero, I was just doing what was right..I don't ne-” she was cut off by the queens voice.

“Oh yes...you need a reward...and I know exactly what I am going to do…” she trailed off back into the hallway and vanished in a hurry.

Meghan looked at the blank doorway for a hot second or two before turning her attention back to bed mare.

Cricket was looking at her owner with love like no other look that she had seen before. Cricket loved Meghan soo very much.

Meghan smiled again. “You are such a good girl Cricket” she smiled more as she said those words.

Astro stretched her head towards Meghan too, wanting love as well.

Meghan laughed once more and stretched her arm out to meet Astros muzzle too.

Meghan looked at the mare, love filling her heart, wishing she could take the mare home with her. Cricket loved Astro and her energy, as well as Meghan did. But what she loved the most too was her need to lay her life on the line to die for the cause or her people. It reminded Meghan so much of Cricket. She longed to have the blood mare in her stables, but she respected the wishes of her majesty and agreed that if she were to another home, that that is where she was to be placed in the good wishes of her majesty.

Meghan became tired and slowly doxed off. Dreaming of a life with the two mares.T
