This is long overdue, really... writing is taking up most of my creative energy at the moment - probably that's the reason for my art block, anyway - so here is a wip of 'The Map is the Treasure' (Joshua's book) chibis. Title is a working title... That isn't the book I'm writing. I have a bunch of feedback for it, still waiting on two more lots but really feel like I have to finish the 'last' book before I can be happy finishing the other two. So I am steaming ahead on this first draft...

Anyway in the meantime while I get my art mojo back, have some book mini chibi collection and profiles:

Joshua Bailey - 17. A merchant's son who was quite happy working in his father's shop and minding his own business until a story came along and shoved him through an Otherworld door.

Captain Hugo von Stollenheim - 27. Captain of the Ocean's Fangs. Vampire. Punches people. Also uses guns and swords.

Rosetta Seacole - The ship's witch. She's an elf. She studied magic from the local mermaids before attempting to study in Fairyland where she had considerable difficulty. She performs various tasks on board, the most important being those of doctor and navigator. One of the highest ranked people on the ship, she's invaluable to the crew. Don't annoy her.

Granas - Takes care of the livestock and is a member of the gun crew, amongst other things.

Alexander - Kelpie. First Mate. Bit of a git.

Marcus - Second Mate. Married to the ship's cook and father of Swanhild.

Gudrun - Selkie. Ship's cook.

Swanhild - 11. Half-selkie. Has webbed fingers and toes. General crew member.

Tannie - hahahaha no.

Letitia - Merrow.

Cloudesley - Hugo's adoptive father. Big shot in the Calypso Authorities.

Clarissa - Witch. Married to Hugo. The two of them studied magic under Cloudesley's witch, Mana.

Granny Wail - Pirate queen.
