So I wanted to post at least some version of these for a while...

Just a few things about fairy culture -

1: fairies are not only huggy people, they're kissy people too. A kiss on the temple (or possibly the cheek or forehead) is a general sign of affection.

2: The general attitude of fairies towards humans in particular and other species in general can be well summed up by thinking of your average attitude toward cats and kittens. Humans that like cats and kittens will coo over them, baby talk to them and give them the best spot on the bed. Baby ones are seen as especially cute. Less understanding fairies might do the equivalent of dressing their 'kitty' up in a dolly's dress and hat and pushing them around in a pram or possibly shoving their face through a hole in a piece of bread and then taking a photo or just hugging them more than they'd like. If they're lucky, their kitty will be there by choice and will be the patient sort of kitty that will put up with it all. If they're the unlucky sort of kitty, they might want to find some furniture to hide behind or just leg it at the earliest opportunity.

And of course there are those who don't like cats and want to scare them away from their property or that hate them enough to do cruel things... but most fairies are the 'aww wook at the widdle kitty cat' sort.
