Will has most likely never seen Tyrian in his wolf form, since he doesn't need it like 99.9% of the time. Also, in Fairyland and travelling in the Otherworlds in general, he does have to keep an eye out for predators, so wolves are a real threat he might come across. Not in his room, usually... well, it's Tyrian's room, which is why it didn't take him long to work it out.

Tyrian was too sleepy to turn back (transformation magic is difficult) so just curled up on his bed. He's probably been out negotiating or just socialising with some yokai or something. Or, idk, frolicking in a forest, or whatever.

It's been too long since there were Tyrian and Will shenanigans, man.
