Why in all that is decent are all the letters E?

One of the test sets sometimes used is that tumbling E chart:Β It's for people who can't read Latin letters, (either due to illiteracy, being from somewhere that uses a different character set or simply being too young to have learned the alphabet), or who are unable to speak.Β You 'read' the chart by identifying which direction the Es point, which you can do by pointing.
