Recently I came across a very interesting DM's Question by How did Penfold meet Danger Mouse from the classic era. Now I don't want to sound negative but I don't like the 2015 version. When I was growing up and I saw the classic show I expected that Penfold was already a agent and explaining how'd they met was left to the imagination.

But ever since the 2015 version came out it got me thinking how did the original pair meet up?

So This is my take on the question, this will be combination of the original and the recent 2015 version to tell this story. It's animation / visional also please bear with me if the dialogue i have planned doesn't not match the animation (unless I get some voice actors later in the future) But enough of that lets see my take on how they first meet!

Hello, everyone I'm Penfold that's right assistance to the greatest mouse agent Danger Mouse!
Now some maybe wondering how me and Danger Mouse met how did it all be begin, well for a start I was already an agent with another British secrete service. fully trained and ready to serve my country, but if evidence suggest i can be a bit of handful. Due to this I was mostly office bound, doing paperwork of agency instead of being in the field. But that all changed when I met Danger Mouse, he was the first person to look after me and treat me right. Thanks to him i went on big adventure and saw the world snd meet new friends.
Like Danger Moth and professor Squawkencluck and my new boss Colonel K, talking about Danger Moth do you know she lives with us. You can't keep her away from Danger Mouse, she must really like him and also she did find him injured. I tell you you can't keep theses two away, but thats another story.

Now on to the, big story my story well it started in London at my original agency under the director of Mr Green. Mr Green was a tough person to please and must of had something against me because I always got the bad jobs until one day when I was called into his office...

Mr Green:

I've being reading a few reports about injured British animal agents returning to service under the code name "Danger program" A project under the direction of Colonel K. The Prime Minster is backing up this project and a handful of agents have being picked, including some of ours. I have a special mission for you and your the agent well suited for this. This Mission could be the most important mission you'll be going on. I know spying on other agencies is wrong, but when lives are involved but giving injured agents then I call this a concern. Penfold I want you to pose as one of theses "Danger program" employees and get information on the program. So I can make a report on the situation.
I have all your paperwork sorted and your equipment will be waiting for you. Then once you have your equipment report to Colonel K, good luck on your mission!
