this is a beautiful shot of both you and the dog. i love the contrast and the b/w. i think the blur is a good thing, since the rest is in focus... it adds a sense of motion that goes with the energy of a puppy.

They are cuddly when they are little. He looks like he's gonna be a big dog. ...I love the puppy smell.

I have a feeling that he isnt going to get that much bigger. You see, I call him a puppy, and i probably always will, but he is actually about 7 months old. He is a Border Collie x Kelpie. I hope he doesnt turn out too big. Mum didnt want as second dog in the first place, and she likes little dogs anyway..

awh, well 7 months old puppies are a little different than the really young ones, they do smell good, unless they are out rolling in the dirt all of the time. hehe
hmm, he may not get much bigger. I know our golden at 7 months, was huge already and there would have been no way to hold him like you were yours. I just thought he was younger. He sure is cute and hopefully, your mom will be okay with his size. I'm sure she will, you know how we moms are. We still love the messy little things and get very attached like you all, or at least I do!

lol, i used to have a coker spaniel Msx. he was a bit of a feral too, always rolling in poop, but he was really fat, and jolly, so he was extra cute despite the smell

You want to know what I think? They know it grosses us out, but they also know that we are all softies and love them to death no matter what. So they roll in yukky stuff, and do gross things, just to tease us. They have us wrapped around their little paws.
