Description

You wake to noises completely alien to your normally peaceful bedroom. You hear scratching and movement coming from across the room. What could it be, you wonder. The soft noises start to move closer to your bed. Frantically you reach for the lamp. As the room illuminates, you look up. Nothing is there. You look left and right and all around the bed. Nothing. With relief you close your eyes and flop back into your mattress, safe in the knowledge that the sounds you heard must have been a dream. Then you open your eyes and look up.

This is a fractal image. It's created using Chaotica and is an example of a future tutorial i'm working on building. In essence, it's a much more complicated linear tile. I loved the metal look and the orbs looked so much like robot optics that I couldn't resist posting it for the #DAHorrorChallenge .

I recently switched to LInux instead of my normal windows and the licensing on my software isn't updating yet. Until support gets back to me, I'm stuck rendering a lower resolution than I would normally do. Thanks go out to technochroma for rendering this for me in her spare time.
