A unicorn under the stars and moon.
What I ended up being really happy with, that unfortunately you can't really fully appreciate in an on-screen reproduction, is the way the metallic powder integrated with the colors. The white in the sky was painted on top, so that has a flat tone, but at certain angles, the forest and trees glow with a golden texture.

Love this!!! It does seem to glow even though I'm not seeing it in person. Fabulous!

It is such a truly successful job! So quiet and serene; the trees, the moon, the lights, the unicorn....everything is perfect! What a wonderful feeling it gave.
This picture and [link] are my favorite works of yours.
Do you consider to do more pictures like this? I will cry out happily if you do so ;_;

I love the luminescent light used in this piece, particularly with the unicorn.

Wow, I love this new style so much! I feel always inspired by your works and this is quite near to my style (or better to say my ideas.. last two years I'm stuck in some creative vacuum).

The spare and graceful forms in this one, the watercolor style and palette, remind me of some of my favorite Alan Lee drawings ([[link] and [[link] )

Wow I really like your non you style if that makes sense. I have always been a fan of your artwork, all the detail and color but this is so out of the box along with the pencil works and it is AMAZING

At first I read the title as bacon then looked at the thumbnail and was very confused. Then I looked at the title again and it all made sense

How gorgeous! It makes me feel nostalgic! It looks a lot like Canada in this one! Have you ever been here in British Columbia? I know you were in Seattle recently. My friend, Ashley met you there at feariecon.

I have, but I haven't really ever seen woods there. Only been in cities. Seattle and Vancouver.

Sadly, it won't be. I was experimenting with some techniques and mediums, and so I didn't really know where it was going as I worked!

I love this and I can kind of make out the metallic color in the left most tree. Either way, this is beautiful.
