The color scheme is a delicate balance and ties her to reality, otherwise I fear she might float into our dreams forever and escape where she truly lies, as a piece of artwork. No, more than that, I feel. Lovely.. simply lovely; the gentle face, the sloping neck and chin that isn't ridiculously ill in proportion (meaning she isn't 'unrealistically thin'). The whipping, winding ribbon throws my eyes in her grace. You are a goddess of watercolors. Gaah, I fumble with my words when I strive to praise your art with them! There is simply too much to admire and lose myself in!

Wanted to try something else for a change. After staring at some of the wings of the angels that Burne-Jones painted, decided to try for some of those beautiful orange/red/green/yellow shades he gets.

Great dear... those wings (or rather the one wing you can see...) I like it how it somehow seems that she is standing on what looks like the background of the picture. The idea is rather interesting and not something I've come across before... I also like it that she seems to somehow converse with the bird... like as if it was a messenger of some sort she'd send to earth...

This is a stunning piece; you've played with perspective. One really needs to take that third look to see the full depth, or perhaps to notice one's own misperception of the depth
