I hope so! Mermaids are my obsession and gosh is that a beautiful mermaid! I hope you'll do more then one for the tarot series.

makes me look forward to dragoncon doodles even more! I don't know anything about this card, but it's an interesting image by itself. i especially like the expression on their faces and how pouched out the fished lips are. the fish that is right behind her tail looks a little disconnected though, like his front and back half wouldn't really connect. were you pictureing this in darker colors, or in lighter more pastel ones? To me it seems like it's suited for the darker spectrum. thanks for sharing this, it's always good to see updates from you.

I really like this piece. For a "doodle" it sure does look finished. I always love seeing mermaids that actually look like they would live in the ocean - very fishy. A +fav for sure!

Gosh, even your sketches are amazing! The way you have this sort of nice flow to your creations, like the way the hair or clothes move with the wind is so great. I look at your pictures and can tell you really love art, there is so much put into all of your works. Your imagination is so vibrant; I can imagine these kinds of things in my mind, but have a harder time trying to draw them out on paper. Do you ever have blocks where you start out a drawing and don't know what else to put into it?

No, I don't really get blocks. I tend to have a lot of ideas sitting at the back of my head that I think about for some time before I ever get to taking a pencil to paper so by the time I get started it's not hard.

It's a great picture, but you'd have to make the entire Trump merpeople so it blends together. Which could be fine. I could almost imagine the Knight of Cups mounted on a Sea Horse... Have the Swords as fire creatures maybe, the wands as sprites w/ wings *shrugs*
