I guess I'm on this thing right now with women lounging in trees....At any rate, this is an illustration for the 2006 RAINN ([link] ) calendar.

This is beautiful and so "Magical",as all your work seems to be. I find such inspiration in each piece you do. I just love the Butterflies! I just finished a fairy with Butterflies earlier this week.It had been an unfinished sketch for so long.Butterflies always seem to add an eligant or mystical feel to a design. Im using Butterflies,Fairies,Elfs, and Mermaids in my design for my new online Gallery setup. I also wanted to thank you again for all your suggestions and advise,it has really helped me. When I was 17 I was offered a full scholarship to Dallas Art Institute and a contract with Hallmark. But the timing was horrible......My parents were having financial issues and my mother's health was not that great so I felt that my family needed me and my help more than I needed to go to Art school at the time. I have no regrets really because family is always first. But now that I'm older and things are differant I find myself wanting to go back to it professionaly. Seeing such beautiful galleries such as yours inspire and move me to do just that. Thank You Stephanie! And as always....Your work is amazing and your talent inspiring!

Simply gorgeous. I find that maybe she blends a bit too much with the swans. Maybe this was intended, but I think some color in her dress would have helped

the leg looks a bit out of proportion, the thigh is way too long.

I like the way you have the butterflys clusterd on the circle of branches. And the lady does look peaceful and contented surrounded by her friends as she dreams. But, alas, no foxes. Did the swans drive them away? (Having seen swans get riled and go after a boat they thought was too close, I know they are creatures not to be trifled with.)

... the umber tonalities above with the red cardinals in front look so good, alas for really good colour mixing, the most beautyfull thing here for me is her sweet expression a really happy face.
