My favourite of yours so far. There's such strength in the image. The twisting trunks are beautifully done, they have such texture. The cloak falls in such a wonderful way. I'm just stunned by this one... it speaks to me in a way that is so rare to find. I love all of the hidden details. Your technique is absolutely impeccable... I'm awed by it. In a way I'm not surprised I'm drawn to this one, as I'm known for ignoring emotions, and finding myself in stalemates, but the way you represent it is phenomenal. This goes straight to my faves.

You've really managed to capture the subtle power and dignity of the Swords suit with this image. I love the cloaked figure and all the hidden little details. I certainly hope to purchase this complete series when it's done. Kudos to you for attempting such a large project, but I'm sure you'll finish it was as much skill, dedication, and grace as you've shown so far in this series. Good work!

Another stunning card!! The beauty of the background perfectly complements the dark image of the man with the swords: and it really matches the meaning of the card as well!!

I love the imagry as always.
Wondering how denial, stalemate, and ignoring the truth are displayed in this? Is it because the figure with the two swords is blocking off all the creatures around him/her? At any rate, I think a blindfolded person would have been more effective. But good job, it's hard to portray concepts like denial through images...great work

Nice... me and some friends were thinking of making an exclusively designed deck... I'll see if he'll kick the idea some more, if we can get more drawings relating to it...

When and where can one buy a deck?
You are amazing. The only other artist I ever admired as much with watercolours is Jody Bergsma... and you two are my absolute faves!

The meaning is the same, but the result is so much different from my own interpretation of this card. I enjoy it when I get to see the contrast between your work and my own. Interesting image here, it fits very well with the rest of them. Your work is very cohesive.
