I was thinking it's the idea that there is still conversation, even when no one is there. Two stools, placed where they would be if people were seated apon then but no one there and WHAT HO? Still talking

I thought the composition of this shot was very interesting. You cut off everything above the waist of whoever would be speaking, and showed floor instead. Does this reflect some aspect of conversation, or is your bench just really messy?
