I can help you n-n if you want to put pixel art as your avatar, it is usually good to have a size 50x50 image
But if you want to submit your pixel art as a devitation, if its a gif you will have to crop it for the preview image or you can use a png of jpg image as the preview. Or you can crop the gif image and reanimate it and then put it as the preview image.
