I'm not really good with birthdays and gifts and whatnot. Because of my fickle 'muse' as you might call it I can't always find the motivation to draw when birthdays roll around. Sometimes though, I discover a birthday while I AM in the mood to draw.

It's not always fair. I owe a few people some gifts already.

is an artist I discovered recently and he's got a real knack for details. This can actually cause me some real problems as I have a tendency to stumble over... more articulate and intricate designs, preferring to stick with simpler stuff. But I noticed it was his birthday today- well... 'yesterday' now. I'm just over an hour late on this. And since I'm on another 'I wanna draw cute reploid girls' kick and he likes Mega Man I combed through his gallery to see if I could find a likely candidate.

Hopefully I actually got one of his OC's and not one of the myriad commissions and requests he's done for other people.

This is Cascade . According to her brief description, she's a tracker, able to follow even the most remote of trails in the worst of conditions. She's also more than capable of contesting and subduing her target when found. She pretends to be a navigator sometimes.

I had to take a few liberties with her design here and there. Some details are missing. That buster gave me absolute fits. Her hair is much more wild. And I went the 'Iris' style boots because at those angles trying to figure out how all the curvature works on more normal styles can be.... trying.

All-in-all though I like how it turned out. Sorry there's no color, Daunted, but that would've made me even MORE late on the whole Birthday thing... and I may have never actually finished it at all.

I gotta stop where I can before I grow too bored to finish.

I did clean it up a bit more and added a small bit of greyscale, so I won't throw it into my scraps folder like my more recent pieces.
