Description
A couple of people wanted me to color this one, and so I have. I also adjusted her left hand a bit, as I didn't like the original. This is Pyrrha Nikos from the Rooster Teeth series RWBY. Β She is my favorite character in the series. As a beautiful, powerful, and inspiring woman who isn't too proud to help those around her but also well aware of how capable she is, she's a rare character IMHO. She's also too patient for her own good. Β It's all a pity though, as I get the feeling that she's gearing up so that she can be used as an example of the Worf Effect when the series antagonists are ready to make themselves known. I hope not. It's so cliche.
Coloring/shading took me a few hours. And blast it all if I HATE shading hair. I REALLY need to practice that more, because it's just a mess. Still, all that aside, I think she came out lookin' pretty good if I do say so myself.
Thanks for viewing! Hope you liked it.

That's a great pose! I'd say that you did a great job on the hair, and I applaud your resolve to push through with it!Β

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
The hair could still use work, but if it's passable, then I won't stop others from liking the picture, far from it! XD

Haha I can relate regarding shading the hair. I would normally just make the shading subtle, making use of gradients instead. Β Based on one of your more recent pics though, I guess you already got over it. XD And this doesn't look too bad. The subtle shading of the hair looks well with the soft shading on her.

Yeah, I tried a few things, but nothing was working out. This was the best I could manage that seemed to fit, so I just went with it.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm not angry, I just like to see/read the reactions. No worries.

Thanks. This started as a quickie, but you can clearly see I started paying more attention as you go down the picture.
Ironically, the initial sketch is the exact opposite.Β
