This is a pic I've been working on for quite a while. I've actually been trying to put this character down on paper for well over a year but none of the sketches I did were really to my liking.

Right now he is tentatively named 'Altair' but that is open for change...

He is from the same story that my characters Kazuki and Kaede are from. He's a gypsy from the Crowned tribe, as noted by the mark of an upside down crown on his left cheek. And despite the title he is actually not a prince but I thought it sounded better He's actually one of the shaman of his tribe and so is pretty good with magic.

In my story there are many different groups of gypsy who are basically constantly traveling to keep in touch with the flow of magic in the earth. Each tribe has a different symbol that represents them and shows up as a tattoo on their face. The hair of gypsy shows how powerful they are and how much control they have over the earth's magic. Once a gypsy's hair is completely white it means that they have full control and are considered an adult. And the longer their hair is, the more in touch with the magic they are so the more powerful they are.

Altair is one of the three Shaman of his village, meaning that he has full control over the magic and is part of the highest tier of power. This means that he usually helps head and guide different ceremonies and solstice gatherings. Those in the next highest tier of power are the warriors of the tribe, although the shaman practice as warriors too (which is what he's doing in this pic). The third highest tier are the teachers and those who are a second defense for he children, and the people in the last tier are the craftsmen and farmers and create everything for the tribe to live.

Alright! Now that I've gotten all that down and out of my head, even though it will probably change a bit later..... Enjoy and please critique if you notice anything off about it! Thanks!
