I just HAD to draw them. The book and the series just...ate my heart without chewing! How could they do that?! I will never get tired of asking this question. I haven't cry so much over the bookmovie since LOTR's Boromir death scene. In a way my mind can find lots of reasons and explanations but my heart can't take it. The first time i'd watched the series and then read the 1st book i walked like a sad ghost for a week or so pondering over this story, how could little details turn into something like that.
I suppose their poses are VERY wrong
but i don't want to fix anything because..i don't have time for it (actually i have to do my home task for my Adobe Illustrator course XD) Still, i had great time drawing these two. They're he best couple i've seen in a while and, gosh, Drogo is a real man (at last!!! no sensitive vampire boyfriends ~~~sorry!) and Daeni is..a very strong woman. I want to shake her hand, it's amazing how her personality develops - i like dynamic characters. well, that's all i have to say

Yeah, he was such a cool character! When I finished reading the first book I wondered - wow, how could the author get rid of TWO absolutely gorgeous characters. I think it's the first time I came across such a thing when the author kills his characters not in the very end but at the beginning!)

I'd love to get my hand on the book. I saw a couple episodesof the show and something bothered me about it, so I quit watching. D: Do love Sean Bean though. I must say this drawing is amazing. The pose looks stylized more than anything else and I love how they're looking into each others eyes.

the books are great! I loved the language and i must say that the series are good. Of course, books are always better that movies but considering all the previous experience i say - it could have been worse, way, way worse (like Dorian Gray, the movie worse)

yeah, reading always gives an opportunity to have your own images of places and characters. However, i personally rarely connect what i see in a movie with what i read in a book. I try to perceive movie as an interpretation, a variant among thousand of other possible variants of the story. They have a right to exist. Even this poorly made Dorian Gray has a right to exist, because there were people who liked this version of the book and understood it in the same way as those who made the movie.

True dat. Even if it were possible to duplicate the images one saw in their own mind while reading in a movie(and let's say everyone was programmed to see the same thing) the feelings words give off in books by their connotations would be entirely subjective. There are as many interpretations of a book as there are readers and even a single reader can find a dozen different meanings from a book if they were so inclined. That's what is so fascinating about it. Movies narrow the view and, in doing so, bring their watchers together...so they have their own purpose. Thank you for giving me something to think about btw. This conversation is really interesting. XD

i don't think the poses are wrong, maybe just the man's hand that is holding her seem placed a bit wrong but this takes nothing away, this draw is just stunning
