Description
I was planning to draw Loki (well, actually Tom Hiddleston as Loki...hehe) for quite some time. Then i rememebered that i haven't done anything in SAI for a looong time. Gosh, i wish i stayed in PhotoshopAnyway, i'm trying hard to get better at digital painting...someday. in another 1000 years maybe
btw, when i was drawing Loki i started painting red hair insted or black and when i realised that i thought - why didn't they give him red hair? As far as i remember he was red in the Norse mythology...or am i confusing things? hmmm maybe black is more badass
~speedpaint (4-5 hours), SAI, PS

Oooh, that's lovely. I adored the way Tom Hiddleston played Loki, from his craziness to his vulnerability, and I get such a lovely sense of that here. I also love the colour palette; the lighter shades are warmer, but the darker shades are somehow cooler, and the juxtaposition really suits the character. Awesome. <3

Thank you! Yeah, I'm in love Hiddleston's Loki too! There IS complexity in his character that brings depth to the conflict - it's not as obvious whose side you can choose because it's so personal and there is that bundle of emotions from brotherly love to hate and greed and pride...like a roller coaster!)
