Description
For Loki's Redemption project . Wow, I'm all about Loki these days. Thank God for commissions that keep my work somehow variedInspiration: Gustav Klimt, Disney Rescuers OST "Tomorrow is another day" and my trip to Paris
Refs: only for faces
Symbolism: wow, I actually made some research about flower symbolism and decided to use them in my work. So, purple hyacinths are used to ask for forgiveness and white tulips on the background are the symbol of forgiveness itself. Also, out of all possible variants I chose Frigga to be the second character. She's positioned in a way to support Loki and also she's helping him take off his armor (i guess i took that from Knocking on heaven's door - "mama, put my guns in the ground") providing solace and a sense of tranquility that Loki needs (that is not to say desperately yearns for

Mmh... Loki AND Art Nouveau design? You used some of my biggest weak points. The colours are impressive and I particularly like the work you did on symbolism, which is an important part of Art Nouveau.

thank you! Loki and Art Nouveau seems to be thing XD I think this style fits Loki character to a nearly freakish degree ))it's unexpected since it's so bright and peaceful (although quite dynamic)

This is beautiful! I love how the fabrics of their clothes, and especially Frigga's hair, seem to flow, like some sort of liquid (if that makes sense). And I love how you researched the sybollism of flowers. Very neat.

This is lovely. >w< Frigga is an amazing woman, in my humble opinion, and of everyone, I feel she was likely hurt the most when Loki lashed out. I mean, neither Thor nor Loki are biologically her sons, but she still raised them, and all that anger in the family. ;w; I love the symbolism you used, and HNG Knocking on Heaven's Door.
