I loved it! I bought it on DVD yesterday, having watched it on the theaters one year and six months ago, and while watching it yesterday, I realized something: if I were to apply to one of the three more prominent roles of MI6 (the M, the Q and the 00 Agent), I would be a Q. To be an M is too much responsibility, and I don't work well under pressure. And I wouldn't be a good 00 Agent either. First, it's not that I don't have a killer instinct, but I would try to kill the least number of people, and save my breath to kill only those whose deaths are imprescindible to the mission. So, the only one left is the Q, and since I am a technology geek... Now, back to the image, I wonder what is the meaning of that stag. Maybe it's the symbol of the Bond family?

thank you! i assume the stag maybe a part of the family crest or something like that - judging by the estate and various remarks in the last three movies Bond comes from a rich family.

Yes, his family IS quite rich. As for the stag, I do believe it is part of the Bond family's coat of arms. Ah, I wish I could find my family's coat of arms. Once I found one but of my father's maternal family (with which we have more contact), and I was so excited that its charge was a rampant lion, because lions are among my favorite animals ever since I watched The Lion King for the first time. But as I further researched, I found out that maybe it is a different family with the same name.

Me too. After that thing called Quantum of Solace, this film came out quite entertaining. Like Casino Royale, it is not so much action packed like Brosnan's films, but the story is very intriguing, and I really loved Silva's character, he is such a likable villain (the part where he removed his dental prosthesis really creeped my out when I saw it in the theaters). I mean, I know that what he did while still an agent was wrong, to hack into the Chinese system, and all, but what M did with him was very nasty. If she wanted to get rid of him for his bad actions, she only needed to send him in a suicidal mission, not that torture. I've seen through Die Another Day that those folks of the Far East can be very edgy when it comes to torture, and it's not very decent. Again, I say 007: Skyfall is a very decent and entertaining movie. It comes on par with Casino Royale, but if I had to choose between Casino Royale and Skyfall, I would choose Skyfall anyway because of Silva.

I've seen Skyfall and all 22 of the 007 films that came before it, and Skyfall was an excellent tribute to 50 years of 007.
I like how you made the image blurry. It really mimics the opening frame of the film.

I too thought it was an excellent movie to celebrate the anniversary! It made want to re-watch all other Bond movies and remember my favorite moments. It certainly leaves a very good feeling inside.

The deer statue was a spoiler from the opening XD Skyfall is actually the orphanage that James was sent to after the death of his parents, and it's the final battlefield....I'm sorta disappointed they killed off the new bond girl so quickly...and Silva just disturbs me...even though he's somewhat funny.
