Excellent shot... check this out if you get a chance [link]

Its along the same lines as your photo.
5.56 or 7.62? If they are 5.56 rounds did you "squash" the photo little bit? the horizontal rounds look shorter than the vertical one.

I like this photo. The bullets are arranged in an interesting manner, and it kind of looks like the letter 'A.'

Hello there, I have come to give a constructive crit. I shall talk about ups and downs.

Ups:
Now that extra contrast adding, is so effective. Really makes the bullets stand out, pure white background is a brilliant choice. I like how the bullets are shiny, like they are something. They have some sort of power, making a stand. I like the title, maybe 'bullets' would be better title though. You get front and back views of the bullets, so you can see what they are really like. The ligh reflecting off the bullets is good.

You make everything perfectly balanced here.

Downs:
Well the title, add that little 's' mate. Anyways, maybe if you put like blood next to the bullets add more of an affect. A border maybe, thats it.

Altogether I really like this peice, enough to fav it. So good work and keep it up!

OH MY GOD YES!! Very thoughtful of you, mate.
I know the title is "wrong" - The Rasmus has a great song called "bullet", so I named it after that.
Adding blood is a very good idea, thanks for that.. I'll probably work with it sometime, when it's photography-time. Basically blood would imply bullets' being a tool of death, which they are. This time, I just wanted to point out how beautiful they can look, by adding some gold, and letting them be the center of the image.

Thanks for taking the time!

Ok I can only think of one thing to say about this:

This is the coolest photo I have ever seen.

Yes I am a girl, but I shoot guns for fun, and nothing says cool like bullets. Unless it's a knife. Great concept, great lighting, just great! This is so totaly cool.

Strangely enough, I love this! Like ~ AvadaKedavra said, you've really made this look interesting by amping the colours up to a tone that we would never consider seeing in connection to something as loathsome as bullets. Especially that golden tone you've given the lower bullets remind me of some kind of jewel almost, which is in fact unbelievably ironic! But seriously, it makes me actually want to hold one of them, and maybe even put it in some glass case of its own somewhere.. And this in a way is a good thing, because you allow us to see these things not as exploding, flesh-rending metallic slugs, but as works of craftmanship and a kind of aesthetic creation. Some would call it twisted, military numbness but I like to think of it as seeing wonder in all things Man creates, and seeing them in different lights and with different uses.
The intimacy of the shot is an interesting effect too; at first I think most people will find it a little hostile or disturbing, to see something so negative portrayed in an investigative and intimate way.. But after the viewer gets accustomed to seeing them in a new light, the close-up nature of the shot actually becomes an important element. It provides us with the opportunity to really contemplate what you are portraying here, and to absorb all the connotations and ironies of the piece.

Another brilliant shot from you; good to see your time in the army has gone to some use! Just kidding.. Splendid work though!

Excellent use of negative space to bring to light the wonderful assembly of shapes, light/dark, and colors of the bullets.

Truth be told it is rare I see bullets put into such an array of flattering color and composition that I view them as...well, actually pretty.

The sharpness of the shadows and detail is impressive. I can positively see the metallic texture.

Is it so wrong that I can even taste them? Strange, huh?

Either way, good work. +fav!
