before anyone says 'she doesn't look like she's just been shot', I couldn't get it looking good enough, so I left it like this.
I wanted to play Shadow the Hedgehog, but then I remembered how bad the gameplay was.

you know something, this looks WAY better than the original 3d done by SEGA. That one gave me the creeps! but this one looks a lot better her eyes aren't all bug eyed. it's anime style just the way it should be. yeah this one truly captures the vision i had for Maria. Although it pains me to say that people succeeded in which SEGA didn't and could have. the games were ok, but they could have been better.
anyway, i like this shot, looks like it took some time, and it was worth it. nice job

When you say that the Gameplay was bad, was it personnel experience, or did you just hear from a freind? I'm asking because a lot of people don't like the gameplay, yet have never played the game.

xD Personal experience, I actually have two copies of the game, PS2 and GC.
It's...not unplayable.
I suppose it's one of those games which are okay but really could've been a thousand times better. xD; All the Sonic games kinda suffered after the two Sonic Adventures.

Well I admit some bosses had an overuse of guns and many levels had so much ammo, there was no worry if you missed, which isn't likely, but it's still a fine game.

Hn...it's more the controls for me. They're not as bad as Sonic Heroes' but they're still kinda...all over the place.
and the levels seemed to have something missing... I don't know, it wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't as good as it could've been.
but that's been the story with all the sonic games for quite a while xD;
