This is a photo of a couple telephone booths my friend Sarah took a photo of, while in Scotland, on her Field Hockey tour of the UK. (Lucky son-of-a-) Moving on....I saw this photo, and I loved it, so I asked her permission to edit it, and so I did. I very much like how well it turned out. I have her permission to be submitting this to DA. Thanks Sarah!I know this effect is waaaaay overused, but with such vibrant colours, it looks soooo good. Sorry for being cliche and uncreative.

I didn't know any better. you should have never shown me how to take pictures in b&w on my camera. Check out some of the other pictures I have up. you may like them too. I'll post more soon enough. I added this as a favorite because i love these phone boxes and pretty much everything UK-ish but i dont think i would have liked it as much if you hadnt put your artistic edit on it. The red REALLY pops when the background is all b/w! Really good editing job man.

Yeah, Sarah actually took another photo much like this, but with the black and white setting on her camera. I actually liked it better, but I couldn't have used this effect with it....the red makes those booths what they are. Anyway, thanks a lot for the comment.

Honestly there isn't anything i don't like about this picture... Nicely framed.. Lighting doesn't matter cuz it's black and white. The only thing really is the red is a little bright.. But it could just be my Mac plasma screen..

thanks for the comment. lighting doesn't matter in black and white film? it seems to be the general opinion that lighting is most important in black and white photography, because without the colour, it becomes to evident. care to elaborate?

this looks like somewhat of a more commercial work. whether that's a good comment for you or not, that's what it feels like. i like it, and i think the effect works especially because of it's simplicity, i just also think that it could work as an advertisement or poster for something.

Lovely photo, I like the contrast between the b&w and the red phone boxes.
Just one thing to point out: in the upper right corner, just above the phone box there is a bit of wall that hasn't been converted to b&w...
