Yu Yu Hakusho = my childhood.It makes me sad when I meet young anime fans and they don't know who they are. Kurama and Hiei were (and still kind of are) like the coolest characters EVAH.

Yu Yu Hakusho is actually the first anime I've gotten my roommate hooked on...it made me happy, lol! Kurama and Hiei will probably always be some of my favorite characters EVER.

Heck yeah Yusuke was better!!! Even though both of them did evade death a lot. ;>> Goku dies, he got revived with dragon balls. Yusuke dies-- gets a cute little rabbit/bird/dragon and then demon powers. XD

I /know/. I sold some YYH art at a con and some of the younger attendees didn't even know who they were, SO SAD. I wanted to sit them down and force them to watch the Dark Tournament xDD

Yesh, you're so right. Yu Yu Hakusho was the first anime I ever watched, and it will always have a special place in my heart. I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels that way.

It was one of my first animes too! I remember watching the opening and /needing/ to know who the redhead was xD. It's still a great show, and it had one of the best casts too--I'm never parting with my DVDs.

Heh, when I was younger I had -no- money, so I only bought the DVDs with Jin in them; I had random ones like #11-12, 17 and 31-32 or something like that. Once I got my first job I slowly started filling in the set xD
And WOO! Dark tourney was my favorite season too!

Hehe, Jin was one of my faves as well. I also always loved Touya. Maybe because of his quiet personality, but Jin was so happy-go-lucky that no one could resist him.
