Yu Yu Hakusho = my childhood.It makes me sad when I meet young anime fans and they don't know who they are. Kurama and Hiei were (and still kind of are) like the coolest characters EVAH.

I love this so much~! I actually have a copy of this and the Jin and Touya print both hanging on my wall, and I happened across this today and wanted to thank you again because they're wonderful! I must have gotten them from you at a con a few years back -- I was probably cosplaying Kurama at the time, actually, if I'm remembering correctly.

Yup, that was it! Waaaaaaayyyy back at my first con, haha (and I have a Hiei and potentially a Yoko now!). That's what actually started my tradition of getting a print at every con I go to!

This was my childhood! I'm glad I saw this at Adult Swim by accident, and since then my bro and I became a fan of this series. The dark tournament was my favorite but sadly, I can't find any box sets of that saga.

kurama was kinda like Russia from hetalia in a non psychotic way cause one minute he's innocent and sweet but if you mess with his friends he'll tear you limb from limb so yeah i totally agree with you those 2 are BAMFs ever in the show

I was just at a convention, cosplayed as Hiei actually. A lot of them didn't know who I was unless they were the older anime fans as well, which was about.. 50/50 I think... so Probably not so bad, but they really don't appreciate the classics anymore... kinda sad really.

I've only seen one YYH cosplayer before, and it was of Kurama. It was so amazing though, she had a home-made rose whip and everything xD
My BFF and I really wanted to cosplay Jin and Touya (because our heights match perfectly, ahaha) but all the yuyu chars' hairstyles are so crazy.... Dunno how you managed Hiei's hair, but props to you!

Lots and lots of Hair spray. XD And I mean that literally. o.o I'll be posting a picture of the cosplay soon once I find a decent one. Since I was at a convention last weekend, I'm getting pictures up the ass all over the place on facebook. XD
I found out a few months back that Hiei actually reaches 5'3 by the end of the series and doesn't stay at 4'10 the entire time. That makes me the perfect height for him since I'm 5'2 and I'm also very good at acting like a jerk so the cosplay is pretty much perfect for me other then the fact I have womanly parts. XD I pull it off though. If you'd like to see the cosplay, I have a link up on my journal of a video a friend took of me while at the convention.
The video is actually my ever lasting shame.... but it's totally hilarious.

Yeah, a lot of people went nuts over that.. in fact I think people yelled, "Hiei your gay!"At least three times during that circle around.... I circled back without the umbrella to spare a few... threats back at them. (I try my best to act 100% like Hiei when I'm in cosplay, the umbrella thing though was...too hard NOT to do..)

&&Your right, these two are TOTALLY the coolest characters ever.
All the other anime characters are jealous, they look at these two and the hang their head in shame while fixing thier pocket protectors and cudling thier calculators close to them for comfort.
