And I have drawn Yue, probably the prettiest of Avatar women ever. I thought her character design was amazing, and I loved her character, so I decided to draw her watching over Sokka. I would think that she is happy that he's found Suki, but she is also hurt and lonely, knowing that they will never be together. So, I hope you all enjoy this piece!Inked by hand, colored in Photoshop!

I really love this style of yours, thick, sharp lineart and clean colouring, it looks very light and professional. What catches my attention here especially are purple shades, they add nice realism. Hmm do you maybe know this rule of purple? ^^ It's said to be a colour doing subtle magic to the drawing ^^ But anyway, it looks great : ) Her face is very expressive.
I don't know Avatar, is Yue some kind of a goddes?

I had a professor of mine give me that little secret, haha! I LOVE using purples, it's amazing how much life it actually brings into a piece, allowing it to be hot, but not so hot that it's overbearing, haha! You should totally watch Avatar. Yue is a princess who becomes the moon spirit. ^^

Well, she's got La, or Tui, or whatever the Ocean Spirit is named...maybe...Tui might still be the mortal form and Yue may just be his/her daughter....
Either way, it's a beautiful image.

I can't remember which one is the moon spirit, either, I don't think they ever actually specify which one is which, haha! I do think that even though Yue has them, she was in love with Sokka, so it's just not the same to have their company, if you know what I mean. Thanks a ton for the fave, too!
