BATIOLIS are a new open species created by me, pupperbox , cute bats made of dough!

WHAT ARE BATIOLIS?

batiolis are cute, fun lil bats made of different types of dough! pasta, pastries, desserts, you name it! as long as its a type of dough, then go nuts!
inside each batioli is a filling to match their dough! for example: a pie themed batioli would be filled with some sort of pie filling, such as blueberries or pecans!
one a batioli loses too much/all of its filling, they die! keep your batioli safe! knives are their greatest fear!

every batioli has certain traits! heres a few, but other than these required bits, do whatever you want!
- sauce/filling hair
- optional dough tails
- dough wings
- neck dough pouches (fluffy and soft!)
- some sort of filling based accessories (examp: fruit, herbs, icing, candy, savory foods, ect)
- big bat ears (be as big as you want!)

BATIOLI LORE

batiolis were created by a magical baker, who specialized in making creatures out of the leftover dough they had!
one night, they left the shop to go on a trip, but ended up being gone longer than they anticipated.
when they returned, their shop was closed down and dusty, and as they entered, the realized a new type of dough creature had formed on its own!
bat shaped dough creatures hung from the ceiling, and make loud happy shrieks as they noticed the baker!
he loved these new creatures, but he couldn't keep them all! so, he decided to sell them off in town to better homes!

BATIOLI INFO

- batiolis are very fond of baking and cooking, but the thing they were based on is their favorite thing to make and eat! eating their origin food will restore lost filling, and refresh them when on low energy!

- batiolis are very social, but some batiolis prefer to be around other batiolis of their own food group! a ravioli made from a pasta will prefer to be around other pasta batiolis, and batiolis made from desserts will prefer to be around other dessert batiolis, and so forth.

- batiolis do wear clothing if they wish! usually something that doesn't cover too much like a poncho, vest or coat, otherwise it gets super sticky and uncomfortable! certain batiolis however will naturally be able to wear other things like dresses and sweaters if it matches their filling type! (ex: a fancy cream puff batioli may wear fancy hardened sugar bits as a nice dress!)

- batiolis are fond of hot, hot areas where they feel like they are being baked, but watch out, some batiolis are meant to be cold!

- batiolis dont have to be filled with anything specific, as long as if can be stuffed into a thing of dough, go ahead! ive seen people deepfry koolaid in balls of dough!

- batiolis reproduce by mixing some of their filling in a bowl, putting it into a hollow ball of dough, and baking it for 2 hours! after time is up, open the oven and your sleeping baby batioli is born! and yes, this means breedables are an option!

RULES

- dont steal others art or designs!! its not nice! soon there will be free to use batioli bases you can use to make your own! dont steal others work ;;
- once somebody buys a batioli adopt, they are free to do whatever they wish with the proper content warnings if needed!
- once you SELL a batioli adopt, you cannot take it back! the person has bought it, therefore it is not yours anymore!
- you MAY make batioli adopts, but please dont sell others designs for your own profit unless its a collab adopt where the payment is split
- credit me for the species in every drawing you make of somebody elses/your own batioli! i love to see what y'all make!
- theres no limit to what you can base your batioli on, but things like weed brownies or other edibles, or other drug/alcohol related things, please put a content warning on it if you are posting it to the future batioli group!
- please be nice to other members, this is a fun species, not a mean one!
