And it's a Ground move because Marowak was the Pokemon that originally used it, which is a Ground type.

Pretty much what Masterge77 said. All the Bone moves were originally for Marowak and Cubone, so that's why they're ground-type. Lucario just uses his aura to create a bone for...some reason. I don't know, it doesn't really make much sense to me at all!

I once drew my own Lucario character using Bone Rush, and I love how she turned out. I also love how they use Metal Claw, reminds me of Wolverine.
