...and yeah, his ears are supposed to be reminiscent of an electrical Jacob's Ladder.

I've long been a fan of the boring-but-useful D&D spell of "Mending". Basically, if something in your possession breaks and nobody in the party has the tools nor the expertise to repair the item good-as-new, you can cast Mending. www.dndbeyond.com/spells/mendi…

I can't believe this spell is just a Level 0 cantrip, which can be cast as many times per day as you want.

I figured that for goblins, most of whom live in squalor by default, this spell would be awesome, especially for Pathfinder goblins and their signature crummy dogslicers. (In Paizo's Pathfinder RPG, which was heavily based on 3e D&D, dogslicers were short swords so poorly-made that if you roll a 1 during your attack, your weapon breaks.)

Dwarven blacksmiths will toss you into the street if you ask them to forge or repair a dogslicer for you. Anybody other than a goblin would sooner arm themselves with a chair leg or a branch than wield a dogslicer.

Note: a session or two ago, a sun elf rogue in our D&D party unreeled a huge amount of pristine climbing rope out of her backpack. My character, Po the goblin, had never before seen more than 9' of rope all in one piece before, because to goblins, all their rope is spliced and knotted together from previously-cut rope. (There are legends told in his hometown of places where the streets are paved with gold and the shops sell coils of rope in 50' lengths. Fifty. Foot. Lengths.)

Po is going to possibly pass out from excitement when he realizes there's nothing stopping him from casting Mending upon his bedroll, his rarely-washed leather shorts, his left boot, his right shoe, his... "THE POWER! THE POWER! BWHAHAHA! WHEEEEEE!"
