Description

In the D&D 5th Edition module titled "Out of the Abyss," Po the Goblin Monk/Ranger, Namilthir the Sylvan Aasimar Paladin, and Sadie the Sun Elf Rogue have escaped from the drow outpost of Velkynvelve into the NW passage.

It turns out that the giant spider webs decorating all that drow architecture were just as flammable as we'd thought. This has been a long time coming.

Unexpected Moments 1: in the middle of combat, our takes-a-licking-and-keeps-on-ticking paladin convincing one of the quaggoth guards to switch to our side.

Unexpected Moments 2: Sadie, still with full hit points, sliding down the looted rope carrying a friendly toddler Myconid NPC named Stool in a resourceful shirt-tied-into-oversized-purse while the drow outpost burned above us.

Unexpected Moments 3: the DM saying the words over Zoom, "A grey ooze breaks your fall."

Y'know, I wonder if Sadie kept the pilfered key to our cell door as a trophy?
