Description This was one of the most satisfying art projects I have done in ages. I don't even know what prompted me to do create this.

Media used were Bristol board, a 0.5 mm pencil, a 0.2 mm black marker, a big eraser, my desktop scanner, Photoshop Elements Editor (for turning the lineart into b&w for easier trial-and-error during the coloring step), and the ubiquitous Microsoft Paint (for coloring).

If you want to find out more, see my earlier DA journal entry at Indian Dances as an RPG Encounter with UndeadI need to get this out of my head and into a readable format before tonight's rush of creativity fades.
1. I want to play a tabletop D&D game where everyone in the party is a Native American, anytime between the crossing of the Bering Strait and the 1800s, where their hunter-gatherer Hyperborean Conan-age or Civil War Era tribe takes on the mix-and-match appearance of different RL traditional tribes. The party's own fictional tribe migrates during the campaign around a whole continent in a nomadic journey which takes many human generations for a complete cycle. No one RL tribe's "look" or customs would be used or singled out as being the sole main template culture, allowing RL Native Americans to play the campaign without feeling left out. Meanwhile, non-Indian players could look up, pick-and-choose, and mix-and-match elements from both D&D and actual Western Hemisphere history in creating their characters' appearances and classes.

If you find yourself feeling inspired by what you see and read here, don't copy. Create! It's okay to look at the types of clothing, classes, and equipment to make your own individual character, but don't simply cut-and-paste someone else's work. You've got real skills! Come up with your own take on what I began here, and I'd love to see who you came up with!

Ha!  Love it, Hon, this turned out great!  I shouldn't say I like the color schemes, because I never know with my colorblindness if that's an insult rather than a compliment, but I really like the earth tones you used.  You can never go wrong with those.

It's very evident you put a ton of hard work into this, and it shows!  Everyone looks great, and furthermore, everyone looks unique.  It's hard to do that, to make a party look like they belong together, but making them individualized enough so that they're not just carbon copies of each other with different statistics.  You really put out a serious effort on this one, and I love it!
