HAPPY THANKSGIVING!Third drawing of the illustration series...featuring native american red squirrels giving a hand to european pilgrim grey squirrels in time of need.
This is dedicated to dA and all the lovely artists on dA for giving me the space to share my art and love other artists' work. Being a full time college student, my time is divided between lab work and sleep (or lack thereof...), which is to say making art is pretty much impossible. But the awesome community of dA really encouraged me to continue doing what I really love to do, even if it cost me sleep
So that I don't think I'll ever give up my artist dream anytime soon, not to mention all the great friends I've made here!!To dA and friends and the squirrels on our campus, thank you! (and stuff yourselves silly with turkey)

i love the colors in this! gives it a very warm and autumn-esque feeling to the image (and the squirrels are so cute X3), its just fantastic ^^
oh just out of curiosity, what kind of paint did you use? it kinda looks like water color to me but im not really sure.

it takes practice (and laziness...) haha. i used to hate using watercolor cause i couldn't control it at all. but when the only material around my house left is watercolor (and it's the fastest to work with) i learned to deal with it
