Our kingdom in the forestour house in a tree
here in the shade we always will be
laughing and talking about childish dreams
those stories now I will never believe
I was the princess
and you were my knight
we awoke to a dream
and the night was real life
I told myself daily
"I never want to grow up"
but sometimes just wishing isn't enough
as I got older, and you stayed the same
your life to me became a childish game
you were lonely, tired
I used to brighten your day
I didn't care for your feelings
and i had no time to play
so when I turned fifteen you were given away
once you were gone I grew up too fast
with nothing to hold onto my childhood left
I regretted the day that I gave you away
and I regretted never coming to play
i wished I had never grown up to fast
and I wished that you weren't a thing of the past
But nothing did change
and when you thought about it
you couldn't lie
if anything at all, you wished you could have just said goodbye

So it was a doll? The whole time I thought it was a boy but then It said that it didn't get any older and was given away! So it's a DOLL!
