Description
Recently I have been getting a few questions about how I made certain parts of my blood moon Kalista cosplay. Therefore, I quickly put together this little walk through of how I made my mask with my WIP photos. I will be making two more of these masks in a similar fashion so who knows, maybe i'll be brave enough and make a video later on!Remember, this is only how I went about making my mask. I'm sure there are many other ways that this mask could have been made and maybe there are better techniques out there. Don't be afraid to experiment and try different things out yourself! Also, feel free to ask any questions if you find things unclear.
Happy Crafting!!!!

I personally used a cheap air dry clay, but you could always use a stronger clay to make it easier when stretching the worbla, and make the mold last longer!

alright, so did you remove clay after fitting the worbla to it? And just adhere the plaster, I'm using paper mache, fitting of you face to the worbla? Sorry kinda new to 'high class' cosplay and I want to make it well. In fact well enough that Id be able to actually kind of move rather than being afraid of breaking something that is made of cardboard.

I used the plaster over my own face and made a cast. This was so I had a rough guide for how big my face is. I then used the clay over top of the plaster cast to start making the mask's features over top of the plaster cast. Once that was how i liked it, I used the heated worbla and stretched it over the clay/plaster cast. Once cool I just pulled the worbla off!

Yepp! It was just a base for the worbla to stretch over.
