so theres a big huge glare on this.. but its staying in the frame so.... yeah. Anyway did this last.. september, its a political piece... You can probably guess what its about. It says in the flag behind the pit, "Guilty until proven innocent" and "ALL man's best friends are created equal"Related content

Completely agreed - Ban the deed, not the breed. Me and my sister are sending letters to councilmen because they want to ban pitbulls.

So i kinda freaked out a little bit when i heard it was NY... So close to home. Uhm, here's a link to a website I found. The bad news is it is a possibilty.. but people who already own pit bulls wont be penalized. Its terrible as it is, but taking a dog from its family terrorizing me.... so thanks goodness they wont do that.... But the ASPCA is apparently run in manhattan.. they do not advocate banning the breed. PETA, does. Which is incredibly unfortunate... anyway, read this article and then read the comments at the bottom, it seems that most people get its the owner not the dog....

yeah... its all just so terrible, all they need is to informed and more knowledgeable about the breed and dogs in general. Its just ignorance and blatant pointing fingers. People hate what they can't understand, the sad part is is that its really easy to understand... ITS THE OWNER and how they treat them. People should know that by nature not Dog is human aggressive, expecially not a pit bull that was once bred to be a nanny dog.
This might make you laugh. I was listening to the radio and this guy was talking about how he read a study or saw on the news, cant remember.. that people are realizing now that smaller toy dogs like chihauhaus and pomeranians are more prone to human aggression that dogs like pits and rotties. Unfortunately because they are so small it becomes funny and not an issue. But then, people starting calling in to say like "finally some one says something!" and "they just figured that out??"

omg.... thats not good. I am moving to NY in a month, and i plan on adopting a pit!!!.... They cant do that! there are so many of them in shelters in NY.... what are they going to do!? Are people who already have pits going to be grandfathered in?

I guess they'll grandfather them in, but the shelter ones will probably be shipped somewhere else.
